In her 20-year commercial career Moira Driscoll has been the voice for the network television and radio accounts of Hanes, Ethan Allen, Sara Lee, Lysol, Triaminic, American Express Small Business Services, and an award-winning Maidenform campaign, among others. In addition, she has recorded many hundreds of television and radio spots, as well as numerous corporate industrials.

Moira has recorded audiobooks for Audio Editions and for BBC Audiobooks America, and museum narration for the Smithsonian and for the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry. Her voice has been heard on NPR commentaries and on The American Experience (PBS).

Moira Driscoll has acted extensively off-Broadway (Playwright’s Horizons, MCC Theater, Naked Angels, and others) and performs frequently at Portland Stage Company. She has had guest-starring roles on Law & Order, Cosby, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and most recently on the second season of the HBO series “Boardwalk Empire”.

Martha is known for the “smile” in her voice. Bright and perky, warm and caring are her specialties. Dropping her voice an octave, she can also do sexy (wait for the hairdryer at the end of the demo).

Martha is the narrator for two well-received, original history programs for Maine Public Broadcasting, titled “Home: The Story of Maine,” and “Maine Experience.”

Martha has been featured as on-camera talent in videos for Lauri Toys and the Maine Wine and Beer Wholesalers.

DB Cooper provides the voice for corporate video, web presentations, and television & commercials. She creates character voices and sound effects for animation, video games and other electronic entertainment. DB is a staff announcer for CBS Radio and is a games voice casting and dialog consultant.

Tavia Gilbert is a writer, actress, and producer who has recorded more than one hundred audiobooks. She is a two-time Earphone winner, a two-time Audie nominee, and a multiple Parent's Choice Award winner. Tavia specializes in long form narration, and works regularly for commercial clients nationally and internationally.

Bess Welden is an actor, writer, teacher and voice-over artist with a crisp, upbeat and youthful sound.

She has recently been on the road with her solo comedy, The Passion of the Hausfrau, which premiered at Portland Stage in 2009. She’s also appeared at the Opera House at Boothbay, Mad Horse Theatre, and with the Portland Symphony Orchestra at Merrill Auditorium. She is the librettist of A Little Miracle, an original work for mezzo-soprano and orchestra commissioned by the New York Chamber Symphony, which premiered at Lincoln Center.

During her NYC days, Bess performed frequently as a storyteller, in venues such as the 92nd Street Y, and has taught voice and speech for actors at Vassar College, The School for Film and Television, and the University of Southern Maine. She is currently a Teaching Artist in the Theater and Dance Department at Colby College and participates regularly in Portland Stage’s new Theater for Kids programming.

Kym Dakin has credits that span from television and animation, to Broadway and national tours. She was a frequent guest artist at Actor’ s Theatre of Louisville and spent several seasons regionally at Syracuse Stage and Denver Center Theatre Company.

Locally, she was a member of Madhorse Theatre Co. for over a decade and appeared in several productions at Portland Stage Co. She was hired as adjunct theatre faculty at Bowdoin College and at USMCCE. She had a retainer voice contract with GMC Truck for over 10 years, has recorded hundreds of voiceovers as well as two dozen audiobooks, many for BBC Audiobooks America and Brilliance Audio, and she won the Audie Award for her recording of Runaway by Alice Munro. For NPBN, she did several repeated animated characters for the Math Monsters television series. Kym records a variety of commercials and web-based instructional projects from her home studio for corporations, small businesses and non-profits. In addition, she regularly consults with audio producers in marketing media on directing of voice talent, and teaches Audio acting through Acorn Productions. Kym is the founder, principal designer and trainer for Short Fuse Interactive, Inc. using the power of theatre skills in behavioral training for hospitals, businesses and educational environments.

Shireen began acting in local community theater in New York City at the tender age of five and continued with acting training and performance through college.

Voice training has come from real-life studio experience; as well as both writing and producing broadcast pieces for clients.  Shireen has been an active voice talent for more than 15 years and covers everything from "Everywoman" to “Mom” to sultry pitchwoman. 

Shireen voices regularly for local and regional broadcast, telephone on-hold, and industrial applications.  She can be heard in a variety of industrial reads for Fortune 500 companies, ranging from training and consumer-focused podcasts to broadcast press releases. Shireen has voiced for H&R Block, Blockbuster, the Vermont Lottery, Concord Trailways and many more.

Lynne McGhee is an actress, singer, voiceover artist and producer. She has performed cabaret acts in New York and throughout New England and has appeared with The Portland Symphony Orchestra. Movie and television appearances include Baby Mama, Palindrome, I Think I Love My Wife and 30 Rock. Lynne was commercial producer and principal copywriter at WGME 13 as well as on air talent for WPOR's Baxter and Lynne Show and the WPOR Morning Crew. Lynne has performed hundreds of voiceovers for clients such as LL Bean, WGME News 13, Shipyard, The Portland Symphony, and worked on camera in commercials for Days Jewelers, Oakhurst Dairy, Daily Brothers Mattress, Shaws Supermarket and others.
